General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC)
1. Scope of application
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply to all orders placed on the gilbonnet.ch website, operated by Gil Bonnet & Fils SA, a public limited company registered in the Central Valais Commercial Register under number CHE-109.484.231, with its registered office at the following address:

These GTC govern the contractual relationship between Gil Bonnet & Fils SA and any natural or legal person (hereinafter “the customer”) making a purchase via the gilbonnet.ch website. Any order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTC.
2. Products and services
Through the gil-bonnet.ch website, Gil Bonnet & Fils SA offers for sale a selection of products in the fields of jewelry, watchmaking and accessories: rings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, customized items, etc.
In addition to sales, the company also offers the following services:
- Custom engraving
- Custom creations, including the modification or manufacture of unique pieces
- After-sales service and repairs on jewelry and watches, with various interventions possible depending on the customer’s needs.
- Ear piercing
- Gold purchasing
Certain services are exclusively available in-store and may require a prior quote.
3. Price & Payment
All prices displayed on the gil-bonnet.ch website are shown in Swiss francs (CHF) and include all taxes (TTC), unless otherwise stated and subject to price changes and errors.
Gil Bonnet & Fils SA reserves the right to change its prices at any time. Products and services are invoiced on the basis of the rates in force at the time of the order. Any delivery charges are shown separately during the ordering process.
Payment is made using the methods offered when placing the online order. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due immediately. In the event of late payment, Gil Bonnet & Fils SA reserves the right to suspend or cancel delivery.
4. Delivery
Deliveries are made in Switzerland and internationally, to the address provided by the customer when placing the order.
Delivery methods and fees
Delivery charges are fixed per order and vary depending on the destination (Switzerland, Europe, outside Europe). The details of the applicable charges are indicated during the ordering process.
Delivery may be free from a certain purchase amount. The applicable conditions are displayed before order validation.
Delivery times
For Switzerland, the average delivery time is 3 to 7 working days from order confirmation. For international shipments, the time may vary depending on the destination and customs formalities. For custom creations or personalized items, additional delays may apply.
General conditions
Products are shipped with tracking. The risk is transferred to the customer as soon as the parcel is handed over to the carrier. No delivery fee is charged for in-store pickup.
Transport insurance
All shipments are covered by AXA transport insurance. Coverage applies worldwide, with the exception of certain countries subject to restrictions according to the provisions of AXA Assurances SA. Currently restricted countries include in particular: Afghanistan, Belarus, North Korea, Crimea (peninsula) and Sevastopol, Cuba, Iran, Myanmar, Russia, Syria, Ukraine and Venezuela.
Additional charges may apply for certain special destinations.
5. Right of withdrawal and returns
In accordance with Swiss law, no right of withdrawal is provided for distance sales. However, Gil Bonnet & Fils SA accepts, as a commercial gesture, returns within 14 days of receipt of the order, subject to the following conditions:
- The product has not been worn, used or damaged
- It is returned in its original, complete packaging
- Proof of purchase is enclosed in the parcel
Customized, engraved or made-to-order items cannot be returned or exchanged.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, except in the event of a delivery error attributable to Gil Bonnet & Fils SA. No returns will be accepted without prior agreement.
6. Warranty
All watches sold by Gil Bonnet & Fils SA are authentic and come exclusively from the official brand networks. They benefit from the manufacturer’s international warranty, valid for at least 2 years from the date of purchase (depending on the brand and model).
This warranty covers manufacturing or material defects. It does not apply to normal wear and tear, impacts, misuse, or repairs carried out by an unauthorised third party.
Gil Bonnet & Fils SA remains available to assist its customers with any warranty or after-sales service procedures.
For jewelry and custom engravings, the warranty applies only to technical or manufacturing defects, excluding elements approved by the customer (design, text, dimensions, etc.).
7. Liability
Gil Bonnet & Fils SA declines all responsibility in the event of indirect damage, data loss, loss of revenue or other losses resulting from the use of the website or the purchase of products.
In any event, Gil Bonnet & Fils SA’s liability is limited to the amount of the order, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Gil Bonnet & Fils SA cannot be held responsible for:
- delays or delivery failures due to force majeure (strike, pandemic, weather conditions, etc.)
- errors or inaccuracies resulting from incorrect information provided by the customer
- damage occurring after the parcel has been handed over to the carrier
- technical malfunctions of the website, temporary interruptions or security breaches beyond its control
8. Data protection
Gil Bonnet & Fils SA processes its customers’ personal data confidentially and in accordance with applicable Swiss legislation.
A summary of the applicable principles is set out in our privacy policy accessible on the website.
This policy specifies in particular the purposes of processing, the rights of the data subjects, as well as the third-party services used (e.g. payment, delivery, analytics tools).
By placing an order, the customer agrees that their data may be used in the context of the business relationship with Gil Bonnet & Fils SA.
9. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by Swiss law.
In the event of a dispute, the parties will endeavor to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the courts at the registered office of Gil Bonnet & Fils SA in Sierre (VS) shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
10. Acceptance of the conditions
By placing an order on the gil-bonnet.ch website, the customer acknowledges having read, understood and accepted these General Terms and Conditions of Sale without reservation.
