The legacy of the Rado Anatom
Icon since 1983, the Rado Anatom is one of the Swiss brand’s most iconic creations. Its unique concept is based on a curved case and a contoured, bevelled sapphire crystal, designed to follow the precise shape of the wrist. In 2023, Rado reimagines this legendary watch by unveiling a new generation of models that combine anatomical comfort, contemporary design, and cutting-edge materials.
Fusion of design and technology
The new Rado Anatom pushes the limits of watchmaking ergonomics. For the first time, the curved sapphire crystal is seamlessly integrated into high-tech polished ceramic links, creating perfect continuity between the case and the bracelet. The result: a watch with a smooth, almost organic silhouette—truly an extension of the wrist.
Three high-tech ceramic editions
Three versions showcase Rado’s mastery in working with high-tech ceramic. Two models in polished black ceramic stand out with their black lacquered dial featuring a horizontal pattern and their intermediate links in stainless steel or yellow-gold tone. A third edition, in plasma ceramic, features a grey lacquered dial and rose-gold accents, reflecting the brand’s unique know-how.
An extreme process for an exceptional timepiece
The Anatom Automatic in plasma high-tech ceramic is shaped using an exclusive process: white ceramic is heated in a plasma oven at over 20,000 °C, transforming its molecular structure to give it a metallic glow. It houses the automatic R766 movement, adjusted in five positions, with a Nivachron™ balance spring and a 72-hour power reserve.
Jubilee editions
Two Jubilee editions redefine the art of elegance.
The first embraces restraint: a black lacquered dial enhanced with three Top Wesselton diamond indices at 12, 3, and 9 o’clock.
The second embodies absolute refinement: it keeps the same diamond indices but adds 162 Top Wesselton diamonds set on the central links of the case and bracelet, turning the Anatom into a true work of light and brilliance.
