Rado Captain Cook Automatic 39mm
Inspired by the original 1962 model, the Rado Captain Cook Automatic 39mm embodies the spirit of historic dive watches, combined with Rado’s contemporary technical and aesthetic standards. Its 39 mm stainless steel case offers an ideal balance between presence on the wrist and comfort, suitable for a wide variety of wrist sizes.
Design and features
The watch stands out for its domed box-shape sapphire crystal, treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides, ensuring excellent legibility and high scratch resistance.
The rotating bezel pairs stainless steel with a high-tech ceramic insert signed by Rado, with luminous Super-LumiNova® markings.
Rhodiated indexes and hands, also treated with Super-LumiNova®, provide reliable reading in all lighting conditions.
Movement and performance
At the heart of this Captain Cook is the automatic R763 caliber, a Swiss movement designed for reliability and precision. With 25 jewels, tested in five positions, and equipped with an anti-magnetic Nivachron™ balance spring, it offers excellent timekeeping stability.
Its extended 80-hour power reserve allows comfortable everyday use, even after several days without wearing.
