The Rado Captain Cook Automatic 42mm revisits the iconic 1962 model with modern materials such as stainless steel and high-tech ceramic. Designed for everyday wear as well as exploration, it offers water resistance of 300 m and a style inspired by traditional dive watches.
Design and features
This model blends a vintage look with contemporary finishing. The 42 mm case is complemented by a ceramic bezel and a matching dial depending on the versions. Applied indices and Super-Luminova® treated hands ensure excellent legibility.
Movement and performance
The watch is equipped with the R763 automatic caliber, featuring an anti-magnetic Nivachron™ balance spring. Its 80-hour power reserve and five-position test ensure consistent performance. Water resistant to 30 bar (300 m), it is suitable for intensive use.
