Rado Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Chronograph
The Rado Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Chronograph embodies Rado’s expertise in advanced materials and watchmaking precision. Built to meet the highest requirements, this automatic chronograph combines ruggedness, legibility, and technical mastery in a one-piece 43 mm ceramic case, water-resistant up to 300 meters.
Design and features
The one-piece 43 mm case comes in the variation in matte black high-tech ceramic or in high-tech plasma ceramic, a material obtained through molecular transformation at very high temperatures. The unidirectional rotating bezel, paired with a ceramic insert and Super-LumiNova® markings, reinforces the sporty functionality of the model.
The box-shape sapphire crystal, treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides, ensures optimal readability and high scratch resistance.
Movement and performance
At the heart of the watch is the R801 automatic calibre, a chronograph movement developed for reliability and precision. Tested in five positions and fitted with 37 jewels, it incorporates an anti-magnetic Nivachron™ balance spring. With a power reserve of 59 hours, it offers comfortable autonomy even under intensive use conditions.
