Tissot T-Touch Connect Solar 47.5mm
The Tissot T-Touch Connect Solar 47.5mm combines Swiss watchmaking with connected functions designed for everyday use and outdoor activities. Its 47.5mm titanium case, ceramic bezel and tactile sapphire crystal accompany a Swiss Made solar quartz movement with tactile technology.
The watch can be paired with the Tissot T-Connect app. It lets you view activity data, energy information and saved routes. It also benefits from software updates that allow its functions to evolve.
Design and features
The round case measures 47.5mm in diameter and 15.3mm thick. It is made of titanium, with PVD coating on references T121.420.44.051.00 and T121.420.47.051.00. The ceramic bezel features a Super-LumiNova® coating.
The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal also serves as a tactile interface. Water resistance reaches 100m. The lug width is 23mm.
The three variants mainly differ by their strap. Reference T121.420.47.051.07 has a brown strap combining structured textile and FKM rubber. T121.420.44.051.00 comes with a gray titanium strap. T121.420.47.051.00 is fitted with a black HNBR-NBR nitrile rubber strap.
Movement and performance
The Swiss Made solar quartz movement with tactile technology harnesses light energy thanks to the solar cells integrated beneath the dial. The energy status and the influence of the various functions on the charge can be tracked in the Tissot T-Connect app.
The watch offers time, time zones, automatic daylight saving time adjustment, perpetual calendar, alarm, timer and several chronograph functions.
Its activity functions include step counting, calories burned, distance traveled and active minutes. For outdoor activities, it includes an altimeter, barometer, thermometer, weather trend, 3-axis compass and azimuth. The hiking tracking function lets you record distance, elevation gain and route.
Connected to a compatible smartphone, it also displays notifications for incoming calls, messages, calendar events and other alerts.
